FREQUENT QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Q: Do you shoot film or digital?
A: The latest generation of professional digital cameras is amazing. A high resolution dvd is included for your own printing. Occasionally Tricia will shoot a roll of infrared film during the summer months.
Q: Do we get real proofs or just contact sheets?
A: You have a choice of a set of 3.5x5 or 4x6 photos, or a magazine style proof book with 6 up on a page. The packages also in a cd or dvd of the high resolution images. From that DVD you can make as many reprints as you would like on your own. Or you may also choose to have our studio make the reprints for you.
Q: I'm not a professional photographer. Will I be able to make good quality prints on my own?
A: You need no experience in digital photography to make quality reprints. You can either pick out which photographs you want reprinted and burn them to a new CD to give to your lab, or you can call, fax, or email our studio and we can reorder reprints for you.
Q; Can I still order prints from the studio? Yes, of course.
A: The biggest advantage ordering reprints from us is that we retouch, color balance all reprints to provide the best quality for each image. We take care of shiny foreheads, blemishes, minimize glare on glasses, and offer "head swaps" if someone has their eyes closed in a group photo.
Artistic filters and retouching can make the huge difference to create a final beautiful image to hang in your home.
Q: Do you offer the images online?
A: Yes. All of our weddings are posted online for you to order prints and have them shipped directly to you. We use a hosting site called collages.net. You can view a slide show or individual prints & your families can order their own prints.
Q: I've heard that digital prints don't last as long as prints from film?
A: We only use a professional photography lab, and we do not print with ink jet, as this is not archival.

A: Tricia & her assistant typically take over 2000 images at a wedding, and then later, we edit this to the best 500-800 final photos. They often say, ”You took too many good photographs”. I respond that’s a good problem to have.
